Last Tuesday, Year 5 and Year 6 attended a morning Forest Schools session, led by Mrs Castle. We were focusing on identifying different types of trees and their leaves. We learnt about the condensation that trees give off, carrying out an experiment. We all learnt a lot, and enjoyed exploring a new woodland. We also enjoyed playing some games!
Here are some of our highlights:
James: “It was really fun when we played hide and seek. I also enjoyed seeing the hills made in the shape of a question mark.”
Stirling: “I enjoyed playing tree tag!”
Imogen: “We ate some fruits from the woodland, apples and blackberries.”
We look forward to discovering more on our next Forest Schools trip.
